The TCD is a dual path communications device that fits into the alarm control panel to connect to the Emizon IP service. Designed as the 'only signalling device an engineer will ever need' the TCD connects to the broadband service for the primary path; and to any of the four wireless GPRS networks for the secondary wireless path. From September 2010 the TCD will also be able to connect via PSTN. Both signalling paths are managed across the Emizon Service Platform.
